The vehicles are available for collection in Newcastle City Centre at Arch 8, Forth Banks Goods Yard, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 3PG.
Subject to availability and your location we may be able to offer a delivery & collection service.
We can advise at the time of booking if this is possible. We’ll try to accommodate where possible.

Our minimum hire is 2 nights and there are no limits for maximum hire. If you do require an extended hire, please get in touch and we can provide alternative terms for longer hire which will be a better rate than provided for shorter term hires.
It’s not like driving a modern car, but yes it’s perfectly easy to drive. Our cars are both modified by Bowler and Urban Truck which has improved performance and made the cars easier to drive. Additionally, both vehicles are fitted with Italian Momo steering wheels which take up less space than the usual farmers steering wheel.
No.Unfortunately our Defender can’t be booked for off roading. The vehicles are not insured for off road use and use off road will result in your security deposit being forfeited.
The vehicles are both fully loaded with all the kit you’ll need on a camping trip – see our kit list for the full list. All you need is your sleeping bags, food, drink and any extras you want on your trip. Everything else is taken care of.
Hirers need to be aged 23 – 75 years old. Have a full driving license – held for at least 2 years.
We provide full comprehensive insurance for 2 drivers.
Yes and no. In England wild camping and off roading is illegal. So you need to visit authorised campsites. However just up the road in Scotland, wild camping is perfectly legal. Look at park4night for ideal locations. However you cannot use our vehicle off road.
In England you can wild camp with help from www.wildwithconsent.co.uk There are many sites throughout the UK with wild camping for one vehicle.
